No matter what their drug of choice, compulsives all have one thing in common. If we don’t practice our program, we run the risk of relapsing back into the disease.
What separates those who find recovery and those who don’t is this: those who don’t find recovery slip and fall, and don’t get up again. Those who recover do their damnedest. They continue to read program literature, they continue to do service, they continue to reach out to others and to their Higher Power.
