We can feel insecure for many reasons, but the fundamental reason is that we do not have a firm anchorage in our Higher Power. Regardless of who we are, we can know and feel that our Higher Power is guiding and directing us at all times.

If we feel inadequate around people who seem to be immensely self-confident and secure, we should not try to imitate their manner and behavior.
