Many times we have a quiet inner knowing of something, but in the past we developed insensitivity to these messages. Our growing self-respect includes the ability to stand up for what simply feels right. We don’t have to prove anything to ourselves.

This realm of inner feeling is the realm of wisdom. It is the creative part, the mysterious part, the spiritual part. It is the foundation of honesty with ourselves. — Touchstones | More…

If you would be unencumbered by the weight of knowledge, then you must return to a state of deep intuitiveness. This is not the same as mere selfish behavior — just doing what you feel like doing — because your actions are likely to be dictated more by lusts, obsessions, compulsions, and habits than anything natural. Only through the clarification of spiritual training will you reach the ground of deep intuition and the freedom that it affords. –Daily Tao | More…

We are no longer in doubt about the right actions to take toward others. The program’s Steps clarify what is appropriate behavior. One of the many rewards of recovery is being free to live without guilt. We now recognize the subtle joy of sincere and loving efforts. As we grow in our recovery, we begin to intuitively now what keeps us on track and in sync with God. –In God’s Care.

We’ve had problems in our lives with limits. We have done some things to excess and others we have endlessly postponed. We may have kept secrets that made us lonely and sick.
